Earthquake in Peru
Fatalities and damages occured in Peru, to a large extent in the towns of Arequ
ipa,
Mosqueda and Tacna. Seventy percent of the homes were damaged or destroyed.
Devastation that left
thousands camped out in public parks and stadiums in the cold winter weather.
