Szervusztok!
Torh Ferihez lesz majd egy-ket mondatom a szep uj vilagrol. Kozeleg a hetvege,
azalatt osszekelepalom.
(elnezest, TOTH Ferit akartam irni)
 Addig is: CO2:
legkori CO2 tartalmat.
Antarktiszi jegtombok melyerol elobanyaszott regesregen lehullot ho CO2 tar-
atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration at all considered levels between one
and two times today's concentrations (350 and 750 ppm) COULD BE ATTAINED ONLY
with global anthropogenic emissions that eventually drop to substantially BELOW
1990 levels"

fustot, port, kormot, szervesanyagokat, csomo aerosolkepzo rondasagot. Ezen-

evekben merheto skalan folyik. Viszont ha igy megy tovabb, a meszheju tengeri
joszagok nyakig benn lesznek a vizben.
mennyisegu femso is feloldodik.

teszi) Hasonlo dolog all a metanra, bar ott tavaly lassulas volt. Varom az idei
merkozes eredmenyet. Es ugyanigy van a dinitrogen-oxid eseteben is.

fejlodes durvan szazeves karakterisztikus ideje kozotti kulonbseg nyomasztja az
illetot.
olyan maradnek, mint most.
resemet?

Scientists confirm slow global warming trend

A panel of scientists said Tuesday they foresee dire potential
consequences of global warming, but said strong measures could curb
heat-trapping industrial emissions at fairly modest cost. Global
warming could endanger human health through direct effects of
storms, floods and drought, said Robert Watson, co-chairman of the
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change working group. Watson said
human health may suffer even more from indirect results of global
warming such as a larger zone of malaria and other tropical fevers
and diseases and from heat stress. The IPCC, in the second of its
three-part report, confirmed that "human activities are increasing
the atmospheric concentrations of greenhouses gases" which warm the
atmosphere. "The document points out that climate change is serious,
but it also points out" options to reduce atmosphere-warming carbon
emissions and their effects, Watson told a news conference. The
report said emissions could be curbed with potential energy
efficiency gains of 50 to 60 percent in many countries using
available technologies. Efficiency gains of up to 30 percent could be
reached in many countries over the next 20-30 years at little or no
net cost through conservation and better management, it said. "The
significance of today's report is the thorough assessment of future
adverse impacts, including sea level rise and coastal flooding,
severe stress on forests, wetlands and other ecosystems, damage to
human health and dislocation of agriculture and commerce," Meyer
said. The panel scaled back projections on rises in temperatures and
sea level from the initial report because it included effects of
cooling aerosols, which partly offset warming carbon emissions. The
panel projected an average temperature rise of 1-3.5 degrees
centigrade by 2100. Source: Reuters
