Transylvannia was a Hungarian principality long before the Romanians even
came to that region.
The Romanian-Roman connection exists because of a Roman penal colony that
wxisted there.

but
5-th biggest town in Hingary. (and more as 2000 year old.). I know a
Dobronhegy

Oh, for God's sake, another one! Rrocketboy now tell us that Transylvania
was a Roman penal colony, and was a Hungary principality "long before the
Romanians got there". How nice to know.

Oh, fine, now we are a "big jewish [sic] problems news group," according to
hudemo6, so it is "refreshing" for him to be asked about Dobrongy.
Well, *excuuuuse* us, please!

Since some of the readers of this list have an interest in the
history of Hungarian immigration to the United States, I thought I'd pass
on the following information:
__Dayton Hungarians: Their Stories, Glories and Folklore__
The author Mike Sakal is a third generation Hungarian-American who
is a former writer for the Dayton Daily News and the current President of
the Dayton Magyar Club. Mike has spent several years taping oral histories,
collecting photos and writing an excellent history about the Hungarians in
Dayton. Among many other interesting stories, Mike tells of the ties
between the Hungarians in Dayton's West Side neighborhood and their
neighbors Orville and Wilbur Wright and poet Paul Lawrence Dunbar.
It's a big book, over 700 pages and it's now going into production.
To help get grants to cover printing expenses, Mike is encouraging early
orders. To get more information you can write Mike:
