In Estonian "ema" means really "mother", but not "womb". "Womb" is in
estonian "emakas". Elnezest kerek a javitasomert (ez inkabb
pontositas), mert egy nem eszt ember szamara tenyleg nincs nagy
kulombseg "ema" es "emakas" kozott, annal inkabb, hogy az utobbi szo
valoszinuleg az elsobol szarmazik.

Tom:
I think the answer is simple: it did not happen!  I went to highschool
in the mid 50's in Budapest and I don't recall hearing about James Dean.
In fact, seeing any American movie in those years was rare.  I recall
only one, "Marty", and the old Western classic, "Union Pacific", but
even that was only shown in the Film-museum.  So where do you get this
idea about James Dean being an "icon" in Hungary during the '50s?

Music is a bit different than films.  There was some Hungarian copy cat
of American Rock and Roll.  It was harder to suppress because of the
Western radio broadcasts most people listened to secretly.
